Panelist profiles  | Nigel Boniface
Saffery Champness
A human resources specialist, Nigel is head of HR with Saffery Champness and has spent 30 years in the HR profession. Initially he specialised in Training and Development with companies such as Harrods, Debenhams and Unilever and latterly as an HR generalist with Rank Hovis, Old Mutual and Gerrard Investment Management. He has contacts in a similarly wide range of professional industries, and advises a varied portfolio of clients on issues including the retention and their recruitment of staff. Nigel is a member of the firm's Professional and Consultancy Services Group, which specialises in advising regulated and service industry businesses.

Linklaters
Halina is the head of UK marketing and product marketing at Linklaters. She started her career as a corporate lawyer and after gaining her Masters in Business Administration became a professional services marketer. At Linklaters Halina has worked on a broad range of marketing topics ranging from managing marketing campaigns around mergers, development of business development strategies for local clients, rebranding campaigns, client satisfaction programmes as well as account management . She started her career at Linklaters in Brussels before moving to the Sao Paulo office where she built the marketing department and implemented a client satisfaction programme. She then joined the New York office in 2006 where she has been instrumental in building the US brand and in managing six key client accounts. In January 2009 Halina moved to the London office of Linklaters to head up the UK marketing team as well as the product marketing function globally.

Leighton Taylor Consulting
Giles is managing director at Leighton Taylor Consulting and has spent the past 13 years placing marketing and business development candidates into partnership environments. Giles was one of the very first recruitment consultants to recognise the potential of these roles within law, accountancy, property and management consultancy firms. He has successfully worked with hundreds of clients and applicants, growing and developing teams and offering extensive career advice throughout the recruitment process.

PM Forum Richard is the founder and executive director of the PM Forum. He qualified with Peat Marwick (now KPMG) in 1979. In 1985, he was appointed senior marketing manager, reporting to Lord Sharman, with responsibility for planning and industry group support. He left KPMG in 1988 to form Practice Management International as an association management company. Richard also formed Strategic Marketing Connections in 1992 as the first and leading marketing recruitment consultancy dedicated to the professions for much of the 1990s. Richard has provided career advice to hundreds of marketers over the past 20 years.
