Adapting leadership style and strategy:
Preparing for the shape of things to come
Annual members' supper

Business has been through the toughest downturn in seven decades with a recession that has tested the leadership qualities of MP/CEO's and the top team.

With well documented poor decisions by top executives leading to ruin in sectors as diverse as banking and carmaking, the premium that has emerged on good leadership advice will be just as valuable as the economic recovery starts to gain pace.

This session, featuring MPF Chairman Sir Nigel Knowles, Joint CEO of DLA Piper, will pose the real and present question: How should business leaders continue to monitor and prepare for the post-crisis world?

Join us to hear our speakers' views and audience perspectives on:

  • Adjusting strategy for surviving tough times, preparing for dreaded double dip or accelerating into the upturn
  • Maintaining close control on costs whilst preparing for return of growth
  • The danger of relying on old assumptions about clients and markets
  • Reward: get ready to hold onto your best employees
  • Loosening the restraints and giving freedom back to employees
  • Communicating with employees honestly

We're delighted that Nigel can join us for our annual members' supper in the South West, kindly supported by Barclays Corporate.

I hope you can attend.
