Managing Partners' Forum - Joint 'MPF Panel' event
Managing in new landscapes
London - 10 February 2010

MPF Managing Partners' Forum

Dear Colleague,

To celebrate our 15th anniversary, the MPF invites you to a special 'Question Time' event on Feb 10. We welcome non-members to attend as guests to gain a feel for the association - see GUEST ELIGIBILITY

Managing in new landscapes

We all fell over the precipice in autumn 2008, went into freefall for nine months and have now reached ground again. But it's an unfamiliar landscape where growth is no longer taken for granted, significant costs have been removed from our firms and salary rises are a distant memory.

One constant is the need for effective management as firms that will thrive in the new landscape will be those that are well managed. Yet management cannot be left to the leader alone...

Join us on 10 February for an interactive session that brings together experts from finance, HR, marketing, technology, etc to debate ways that management advances made in tough economic conditions can be sustained once the economy improves and fee earners revert to familiar patterns (or not as the case may be).

Whilst we will aim to share some lessons learned in trying times, the thrust of this session is the opportunity to discuss the strategies firms are debating, planning or executing for the future.

Run in the style of 'Question Time' we will select the most insightful questions received to lead the panel, but allow ample opportunity for spontaneous questions from the floor.

Please email your question for our speaker panel in advance to me at paul@pmint.co.uk

I hope that you can attend.
