Click-thru

11 March 2009

Hi folks,

It's been a busy few weeks for all of us at the IAB. You may have seen us portrayed as sheriffs on the front cover of last week's New Media Age. The launch of our Good Practice Principles for Behavioural Advertising caused quite a stir, with industry experts welcoming our leading role in this growing discipline.

Elsewhere, the Twitter bandwagon rumbles on. With the latest Nielsen figures suggesting that social networking is now more popular than email, it's a trend that no brand can ignore. For our part we've now amassed nearly 700 followers - click here to join us.

We're also tracking the development of Spotify and last week we interviewed the founder and chief executive Daniel Ek. With the recent spat between YouTube and the Performing Rights Society, monetising music in the online sphere remains a thorny issue for all.

For the latest on this, and other key issues affecting the digital industry, keep checking the IAB website and the IAB blog on Brand Republic.

Happy reading,

Web Team
