Good afternoon voters!

In case you hadn't noticed already, today is a very special day. That's right, it's Tony Blair's birthday (born in 1953, fact fans.) It's also the 24 hours we've all been waiting for, with a run-up even more exciting than the X Factor final and a three horse race so close it puts the Grand National to shame. To celebrate the almighty election, we've put together a Click Thru special, discussing how digital has played a part and what we can learn from all the online activity that has taken place.

And in an email even longer than the Conservative manifesto, we've brought you articles, stats, pictures videos and a whole load of other nonsense to satisfy your political cravings for the next 4 years.

You can also download a copy of our 'Digital Election' white paper featuring a whole host of geniuses including Emily Bell and Ruth Barnett from Sky News

So have yourself a little break before all the Twitter madness starts this evening, and take some time to reflect on just how influential our wonderful medium has been over the past 4 weeks.

Happy Election Day.

From the IAB web team.
