UK internet advertising worth a whopping £2.8billion in 2007!

Are we surprised? Yes and no. Yes because the UK's online advertising market has leapt a great distance in just a few years (a £2 billion distance). There is also still room for growth in all online ad formats as advertisers play catch up with consumers, but the IAB has - for some years now - been expecting this incredible growth to plateau.

Of course, this massive growth is understandable however because the internet is continually becoming a bigger part of our lives and the internet business systems in the UK are slicker than ever. It will be exciting to watch as internet advertising continues to beat all predictions and gradually becomes the UK's largest advertising medium.
